Is that kiss goodbye to Moyes then? Who would you want if so?

Rumours are BK had a face on him like thunder today at half time & even when we equalised - mind you I was not that happy we drew with a team who have the worse defesive record in the premireship -

DM on RM asked why he changed the defence to accomodqate JH - answer a curt reply of "I did it on wednesday night didn't I"!

Goodlass on RM gave the selection of JH a right going over blaming DM for not selling him on!
BK had a face on him did he....he has a ****ing cheek even sitting in his free seat

The next question should of been

West Brom dont have Benteke in there team.

I miss the Moyles that was always learning and adapting. His mistakes were easily forgivable as he was keen not to repeat them. Somewhere his outlook solidified and he stopped, and started explaining away anomalies.
RIP mkI; good luck with the knife-fights and new job mkII

This time last year the Moyes outers were after Lambert as the "man to take us to the next level".

Well he Villa still have a wage bill £20m a year more than Everton, have spend £70m net over the last 5 years on transfers, and £20m this summer alone, and are in the bottom 3.

they didn't need one to scored, johnny just tried to play keepy ups on the goal line and made a half arsed attempt at outjumping a wee irish man.

The problem is, moyes is making me hate heitinga now. i never loved him as a player, but he always respected the fans and seem whole hearted. he should be on our bench every week and then sold and i'd remember the player of the year from last year. Now i can see a guy who is replacing neville as the hate figure because he's the only player in the team not good enough - at least with heitinga he should be at the level of the rest - has no excuses

I don't really understand.

We have clearly changed style massively in the last year or two. We have exchanged defensive solidity for more attacking options.

In fact I reckon Moyes has made more changes in the last 12 months than he did in his first 5 years.

i'd still take lambert as moyes' replacement. i don't know what the **** he's doing there but he'll be a top coach in the future.

a question about moyes - does anyone reckon he'll be the next harry redknapp? he's best know for going to teams down the bottom and keeping them up and then progressing them, same as moyes did with us. but i wouldn't trust him at a team at the top end of the table because he'll underachieve (same as what moyes has been doing with us in the last few years). I know this has been down to finances, but during his reign he's consistently failed to take us to the next step - something redknapp failed to do at spurs. They're also both known to wheel and deal pretty well given limited funds.

just a point for discussion, not knee-jerking based on today, but just wanting to know what everyone else's feelings are. would you trust any of them at a top club where they're expected to win things? i'd say no

would you trust them to get the best out of a team struggling at the foot of the table, to fight for everything and avoid relegation? i'd say yes

You're right regarding shifting from having almost six defenders to a more attacking posture (which I think's great); My point's stuff like our central defence being weak on the counter and having difficulty dealing with ariel threats at the beginning of the season, and yet he used the same defenders/system to anchor the blooding of youth at Leeds :)

How have we underachieved in recent years?

Only once in 6 seasons has a team with a similar budget finished above us (Newcastle last year).

What do you think Moyes should have achieved in the league with this squad that he hasn't?

oops, didn't mean it to come out like that. I meant moyes has failed to take us to that next level - much like redknapp did at spurs in the last few years. he had some great players there and qualifyed for the champs league once? and won a carling cup. hate all this media bull**** saying he did a great job there. should probably have re-read it before posting

Erm, he took Spurs from the bottom of the league into the top 4 and the CL, where they gave a really good account of themselves beating some quality opposition and only missed out qualifying this season because Chelsea won it.

If that isn't taking a team to the next level I don't know what is. Bad comparison.

No one that i can see is a Moyes outer, he has not signed his contract that is where the indecisive position EFC are in - He is on top money BK leaves him to run the club his way - if he does go he will find it a total difference if he has staff breathing down his neck if he goes to Chelski lets see how long he would last there????

Moyes would be brilliant with money its that snake Kenwright and his gang of bandits in the boardroom that need kicking out when did this redcoat become bigger than everton football club? Im sick of waking up and hearing that he is still efc chairman I want this guy serving my big mac behind the counter, I want this guy looking for a pair of shoes in my size, I want this guy waxing my arse in the salon anywhere but strangling this club im fuming right now just thinking about it
