Is that kiss goodbye to Moyes then? Who would you want if so?

He was given 9m to spend. Fer got called off due to a knee issue at we left the Spanish bloke to late to get it done. Giving him that sort of cash (a small fortune compared to recent windows) is faith, he just couldn't find the right player.

Just to clear it up another time, he didn't have that much to spend, lucky if he had 3mil up front the rest in installments, and the deal fell through because we wanted a cheaper deal based on his knee, it didn't fall through soley because of his knee, if you know what I mean.

Well i can see arsenal getting rid of venger if they don't get Europe, chelsea always have a free space going every few months, or the old fergie does pack his bags and heads off to butlins on his retirement. I think David has proved himself and well worth given chance to have the backing and funds we just can't give him. I know Im going to get shot down for this but we are doing exceptionally well considering the amount of funds we are given, not saying we should be happy just to sit mid table every year but what other can we expect?

Can't see him going tbh, He has no reason as many have said! he's on a good thing and we tried to do business but it just wasn't going to happen! Would have liked to have seen Fer but we def don't need another sicknote!!! We kept Fellaini and more importantly Bainesy! so lets kick on and give spurs and arsenal a run for 4th! if we don't get it then we may loose Fellaini, but he is just another player! we've lost bigger players than him! ( well maybe not physically bigger but bigger team value, lol!!!) COYB

I reckon some of our fans would just love us to piss away money just so we can say we have brought in a new signing. We went for Fer but it didn't come off because of the complications with his knee. Hasn't Fer himself come out and said it was an understandable move by Everton? Moyes is obviously happy with Kenwright for his efforts in this transfer window and we haven't lost any of our key players and have brought in one young player for the future. There's no point in spending millions if it's not on the right player/s. The red ****e are a perfect example of this which is why they are in the poor position they are and why we have steadily made progress during Moyes' time here.

Who knows what will happen in the summer, but there is a chance that we might make a big signing then when there is a lot more time and Moyes can get someone who is definitely right for the team. What's the point in rushing a transfer and wasting 8 or 9m just to keep certain fans happy?

As for him moving on, I can't see many better options for him. Ferguson and Wenger are in the way at the moment at United and Arsenal and Arsenal are arguably not even as good as us. Spurs are a sideways move and are definitely not a bigger club and if he were to go to Chelsea or Man City he would be at risk of being sacked after a single season of disappointment.

Laughing that people posting above STILL think we had money to spend, other than a couple of mil as an upfront payment.

We all know it's Moyeses Job for as long as he wants it. It's his job to quit, he has to walk away, Bill won't fire him.

He can just keep on keeping on with his 60K per week cushion.

He can name his terms

He can have a bob each way

He can go on a monthly handshake agreement

He can shove smarties up his nose until his face turns blue.

He may even be bidding his time until he sees what's going on at Chelsea

I think baring that he will be there at the start of next season

Nah lad - Moyes is deffo off. Lots of people on here have seen into the future. And they know that Moyes is really disappointed with this window because they have superior body language reading and mind reading skills. That's good enough to convince me really.
