Wage bill is massive though , not so much are they paying £150k a week but pretty much the whole squad are on fortunes , I think song would be near enough one of lpool highest earners & their bonuses are huge as well .

Arsenal wage bill is around 149 million a year, where Everton is around 52.

Condescending sh!te from a gooner. Who the fck does he think he is, writing about EFC. Moyes to Spurs, Moyes to the RS. Isn't it strange that they are still owned by an Evertonian instead of some bleeding American businessman or some other rich foreigner who knows nothing about the club. If I was him I'd be worrying about Wenger going awol.....

It's bit like saying the Titanic was a fine ship and people perished because it hit an iceberg.

Overlooking the failure of management to include enough lifeboats in the design particularly as the ship took nearly 3 hrs to sink is more telling.

The lads piece is very neighbourly but knows little of the Kenwright chokehold nor the symbiotic partnership he has with Moyes instead he does the usual regurgitation of the Moyes myth.

Might send him a xmas card with the unabridged version of what's happening at this shell of a club.

You know guys, its possible for an Arsenal fan to take an hour out of his busy day of worrying about Arsenal to write and article about another club safe in the knowledge he can resume worrying about Arsenal straight after.

Nothing wrong with what he's said. Seems to have a lot of respect for Everton whereas a lot of outsiders seem to be under the impression that we're a sh*t club with no history. Didn't think it was patronising to us at all.

I think the highest earner they have it on 80k a week at the most. Not too much of a far cry from us giving Arteta 70k and a few others 60k+

I just think at Arsenal there's **** loads of 60k+ players on the books that totals up massively

They have a wage structure and its why Adebayor, Nasri and now RVP all jumped ship because they can earn twice as much elsewhere.

Like I say, and mentioned before, they have a lot of squad fillers on massive wages adds up.

Think the Arteta one is wrong. Didn't he take a wage cut to move?

Sorry mate that's sort of what I meant not that they are paying huge wages just everyone (near enough is on a fortune ) and they are really cute with bonuses and signing on fees etc. which make the money up. They preach financial prudence but they pay a huge amour our and last year if you'd taken out the money paid to all the Chelsea sacked managers they weren't a million miles away I think . Obviously Chelsea was more I just mean they pay a huge overall wage bill which is backed up by the figures above .

That was the story but if he was maybe on say £72-75k at us his flat wage might have been less but factor in signing on fee, appearance money and bonuses it's probably a fair bit more. An agent said to me " if Arteta takes home less a week at arsenal than he did at everton after that move he doesn't need to sack his people he needs to shoot them"
