Is now the opportunity? Should Everton go for Iraola?

You couldn't make it up. Loads on here saying that it was too much of a risk to bullet Moyes and go for Iraola yet the RS jettison a manager that won the league to secure his services. Mad.

Sickens me to say this but the RS are the ruthless , ambitious club that we can only dream about.
Winners' vs losers' mentality, sadly.

Liverpool: We expected to at least put up a challenge to defend our Premier League crown. The manager failed and we don't want to risk another season where we only qualify for the Champions League.

Outcome: Manager replaced with new guy brought in before the first week of June is even over.

He'll now undoubtedly be handed £300-odd million to build a squad to his liking.

Everton: We expected mid-table obscurity but actually ended up 13th and a mere two points ahead of Leeds United who were deemed to be in a serious relegation fight until the final month of the season.

Outcome: CEO publicly backs the manager and tells the fans the club are happy with the teams performance this season. Manager retained even when several exciting managers were available on the market.

Another summer transfer window of looking at options D, E and F signings because we missed out on Europe. Squad highly likely to be no better than it was when we went into last season.
