Silva still in place, Spurs and Arsenal taking decisive action to sack their managers despite being in far better shape than us and Moyes linked with a return.

What's the stage after panic?

Fright? Terror?

We've still got plenty of time before the panic has truly seeped into every nook and cranny before we move onto a DEF CON 1 situation.

Acceptance. I for one look forward to watching us play the Championships best with Mark Hughes at the helm.

I remember seeing an Oldham fan in the supermarket. At the bottom of the back of his shirt were the words, "Keep the Faith"

Now that's acceptance that you and/ or your team are about to get another bumming.

Maybe we need to do the same?

Silva will be gone at Christmas. We needed to take maximum points from our opening games. We didn't and he is gonna get the sack because of it.

Look at our December fixture list! I can't see us getting anything in December.

On paper I see us getting about 10 points from the next 13 games.

Those 13 games include playing RS, Chelsea, arsenal, United, West ham, spurs ,leicester. And the others are pretty tough games as well.
Turns out it was time to panic in Sept.

Resignation - by us.
Resignation - from him...after the final whistle at Leicester, if he's really quick he can beat Moshiri or Brands to the punch.

Panic. Shocked we are at this stage ... at least when Koeman got sacked we had lost to a few good teams .. same points and have not played anyone bar city this year. Anyone who thinks we are not in trouble is very optimistic or maybe just doesn’t understand football ..
