Is it just me or...

Think you've gauged the situation badly here

1. We've not got a pot to piss in and seemingly can't even get a loan in despite letting 3 go.
2. Our striking problem has been our big problem all season yet we've let 2 go.
3. Were 5 points off relegation and are playing ****e.
4. Our dear neighbors sign a new striker for 22 million after being in turmoil a month ago.

I've never felt better to be fair and can't wait for my early bird season ticket offer for next season

Is it just me or does every football team in England seem to be signin players apart from everton? Thats what's most depressing, even more so now the fekkin RS r just about to part with 23 mil for striker.
I don't even get the slightest little stiffy when the SSN breaking news banner turns yellow anymore cos I know it ain't gonna be out to do wid us. Unless we're selling someone like of course.

Not depressed until Bily doesn't play in tomorrow's cup tie.

If Bily doesn't play tomorrow and he starts Felli up front/in attacking mid, then that will be it for me. I think I might have to go on an Everton hiatus before I have an aneurysm.

My exact thoughts, and i bet thats what moyes will do. For me Beckford and Saha up front and "BILY must start!"
Oh and as for the question am i depressed....the answer is yes, especially if Bily doesn't start tomorrow. I feel like causing a riot!!

True, I don't have any renewed energy or excitement for the team, but we all need to get a grip.

We have a great team of blues. Most of them play hard, day in and day out and we have some real class in the team (and some potential in the reserves for the future). We have a dedicated manager who has a proven track record of doing a lot with a little. We are not in relegation, and our roster (AS IS) has the talent to keep us out.

Aiming to not get relegated is poor and is not the NSNO attitude we claim to have, but let's not kid ourselves, how big a difference do you think Kranjar (or any of the other mid-level or unproven players we were linked with) would have made? Bring in 3 or 4 TOP quality loans, that can make a difference, but did anyone really think that would happen?

I'm just going to support my Everton. We have a great team of some great lads. While the optimisim I had at the beginning of the season seems quite laughable at the moment, I still love the guys and am looking forward to seeing them play tomorrow.

We still have half a season and a talented roster, let's enjoy the rest of the season.

I'll go ahead and address everyone's first thought on this one. Yes, Landon Donovan did have that big an impact, but he is FAR more the exception than the rule on this (and the team was returning to fitness right at the same time he started - lots of things came together with his start that really did bouy the club).

I'm still hoping we bring in some fresh blood, don't get me wrong, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm going to support the team as best I can whether we sign anyone or not.
