Who knows, but I think there will be at least some kind of crowd next season.

If it wasn't for Carlo and the majority of our team, this would be the season I try and bin it off.

"Will" is a massive assumption. Hopefully we will but the reality is who knows - vacines looking good, but no one has a clue if they facilitate full stadium return.

is it better than no season?
I'd rather have no season if fans weren't allowed in for another season, Everton being good and DCL banging them in is just about keeping my attention.
You don't realize what fans add until it's gone obviously not monetary issues aside.

Dont get me wrong, i miss it massively. but I think we need to appreciate how long this wait might be, could be 2 years plus from now. Anyone who said in March it would be 15 months before there was a crowd at the game, they were laughed at. It could be another 2-3 years before we are back to real normality

Im really missing it, as well as going to Snowdonia, gigs...etc but unfortunatly we have to accept crowds cant be right now.

What i hate more then anything is the people who i only seen at match day, all the people who sit around me....etc faces from the match, i actually miss them and because i dont know them outside in the real world ive no way of keeping in touch, in fact one old fella who has been going since the 50s, on the end of my row i would hate to think i might never see him again.

Same for me. I've had my current seat in the paddock since 2001 and there's probably around half a dozen sat around me who've had their current seats for at least as long as I have. Don't know them away from the match, but always enjoy having a bit of a gab with them before the game and at half time. And when we had Allerdyce, often during the game as well !

It's awful. My interest in football has taken a huge dip. I didn't realise how much the crowd mattered - even when watching on TV. It gives the game some legitimacy and reminds you that we're all part of the big football family.

I play Sunday football. Premier league still gets more people watching live than we do.
My games are not soulless, they are not meaningless and they are not any lesser because we don't have fans watching us.

Perhaps some of you should take a walk down to your local park and watch a Sunday league game if you miss live football so much. It won't have the quality of the premier league, but it will have more soul, and having a dozen people rock up to watch it will mean more to those players than having 40,000 at goodison means to the likes of Iwobi or Siggy

I got chatting to a bloke at my local non league club Bath City a few years ago. He had lived in Bath but moved to Barrow. He still saw a dozen or so home games every year. I asked him if he ever went to Barrow. He looked at me as if I was mad. Would love to go to Barrow.

I've been there, a proper footballing outpost !!

It’s not really a gauge or even an accurate one but the under pendant reckon 19 million in the UK have possibly had the virus already, that’s a guess at best and doesn’t take into account t you can have it more than once. My guess is you can possibly write off a fair portion of this season and then only limited numbers will be allowed back. I reckon you’re talk 2.5/3 years before full crowds are back. Assuming no other novel virus comes along in that time
