Be interested to see if this affects our support numbers in Ireland, with so many Internationals in the team. Or at least the coverage we get in Ireland.

Great point. Many Ireland fans follow the clubs the current players are at so there will be a surge in support amongst younger lids who haven't been tainted with red paint yet. Sick of the RS and Utd dominating things everywhere you go ffs. Sland had a big increase in Irish support during the Quinn/Keane era and many of those have stayed loyal to them, so it is likely the same will happen here.

kind of enjoy being the only evertonian in the village, over here and winding all the rs and mancs up about our brilliance lately,, well i used to do it when we were ****e too in the nineties tbf, so i'm hoping we don't get too many glory hunters jumping on the band wagon,, an influx of young supporters who are just figuring out whats what would be ace.. but hopefully not all the 20 yr old plus plastic sunderland fans who suddenly appeared a few yrs ago when quinn and keane took over, sunderland jerseys everywhere all of a sudden. surely you should know who you support by your early teens at the latest,, I had no choice I was chosen at birth thank God . Roberto O Martinez ...:lol::lol::lol:

We should definitely be trying to figure out to capitalize on this. Maybe a pre-season match with one of the Irish teams in Ireland next year?

Great point about getting the young ones on board. The 50's birthed a ton of Irish Evertonians. Hopefully this will birth a new generation.
