Any good? I'm thinking about getting rid of the land line and just having the mobile... was thinking about something 3G so I could get the internet as well. iPhone seems to fit the bill.

A few of my mates have them and they're pretty cool. I don't have one as unlike them I am a real student and therefore skint.

They look wicked. Several of my mates have them, one just go this saturday. Got voice recognition so you can tell it what music to play! Turn of the 'shake to change tracks' option if you're walking anywhere while listening tho.

Part of me really wants one. The snob in me doesn't cos half the world has them already, and the 'commoner' in me reckons they're too expensive!! :lol:

Ive got 2 computers for the net, a good SLR camera for taking pics, a car to listen to music on the go and a phone for making calls. Why would I want to spend another G on an easily scratchable/droppable/looseable turd when it will get superseded by the next piece of schwank.

My brother has 1 & I could have got 1 but I've got an ipod & the camera is crap on iphones so I went for a Samsung M8800 so that I could have that for phonecalls, texts & photos & use my ipod for the games & music side of things.

The internet wasn't high on the list of priorities, I just wanted something that would allow me to take top quality pictures so got it in phone form so that it was always with me for when I wasn't planning on taking pictures & also meant I didn't have to carry a camera around when I went abroad with Everton etc. The internet is a lovely little bonus though, works really well on it
