Interview with Jamie Carragher

Thanks everybody for your kind words, I really appreciate it. I get why some may not be happy with us chatting to an L'pool legend like Carra, but, as a human, I found him to be very pleasant and it was great that he gave us an hour. Not too many would.

For the record, I thought he was pretty balanced overall. I went in two footed with the #BANTZ because I'd assumed he'd be in full 'take the p**s' mode, but he wasn't.

Again, thanks for your support. Makes it all worthwhile. As said above, it's hard sometimes to juggle this with life, work, future wife etc but I love doing it so thank you. If you see me at the match come up and say hi and let's share a chang.

Ruined it lad.

Thought it was really good that, comes across as a decent bloke does Carra. I still can't fathom the process of turning from a blue into a red, hide it whilst you're there fair play, but to completely flip opinions on it doesn't fully make sense to me. Either way, good job.

will watch soon, got a lot of respect for Cara the things he does,
done a lot at a family's relatives funeral also .. he used to work for Cara like
don't really wanna say on here but helped a lot. good man.

Correct. He also firmly placed the blame onto Everton in his book for the increasing hostility between the two sets of fans.

Honestly don't get why so many blues get all giddy when EFC fan-players or ex players mention us. It's pathetic. I wouldn't feed the cart, nevermind interview him.

Any celebs out there currently needing some publicity or attention should just come out and declare themselves Massive blues. Watch half of GOT and twitter immediately drop to their knees.

Exactly, let's all blow smoke up his ass and hope he says he likes us really and we'd all feel warm and cuddly..

Viva the closet red pacifists

The GOT YouTube channel has about 1k subscribers mate, you think he's doing this interview to publicise himself when he fronts a show that is watched by a huge amount more ...

This 100%. You don't think there are several LFC websites that are bigger than GOT TV (with no offence meant) that would give their right bollock to get a 30 second question answered by him? He sat down, answered the questions thoughtfully, was willing to talk about his support of Everton, how he ended up changing and did so in a manner without resorting to easy cliched put downs. He spoke with a humour and self awareness.

Most tv channels enjoy hearing what their opponents think. I certainly do. As You said if you don't want to hear it don't listen. If you hate Carragher thats understandable and crack on. I'm beyond hating most of theirs now. However let's be clear, Carragher sitting down in the manner he did was a massive favour on his part and a decent thing to do.

No wonder they call us bitter reading some of the replies on here.

"Here's a video you can watch for free if you want. Or not like, it's up to you."

"You're dead to me for speaking to someone who used to play for our rivals and likes to (quite clearly jokingly) wind our fans up now that he's retired. I demand that you remove this offensive content from your site because me just not clicking on it isn't enough"

I love Everton. I really really do. But the idea of getting all froth mouthed about somebody 'belittling' us or whatever is just weird behaviour once you get past 14.
Exactly what I was thinking lol

Some of you don't half like to hold a grudge. It's a sport ffs.
