Di Stefano, Puskas, Cruyff, Maradona, Messi, Maldini, Hagi, Robben, Giggs, Petr Cech, Salah are/were all left footed. Tennis players Laver, McEnroe, Connors, Navratilova, Seles, Nadal are/were all lefties. Spacial awareness is supposedly better with left handers, which may explain why 20% of architects are reportedly left handed against an overall average of 10% of left handers in the total population. 20% of MENSA members are left handed. 4 out of the last 7 American presidents have been left handed - Obama, Clinton, Bush Sr, Ford. 25% of the Apollo astronauts were left handed. Leonardo Divinci, Michelangelo, Beethoven, Mozart, Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Kurt Cobain and Noel Gallagher were/are all left handers, but so are Phil Collins and Ringo Starr. Unfortunately, we also have an expected lifespan 9 years less than right handers and are more prone to alcoholism - these may be connected.

Back in the day, (pre 3D computer generation) I worked in a dept that dealt with the technical, R&D, press tool prototypes and stuff.
3 out of 5 were lefties.
Family lefties; maternal grandmother, mother, me, No1 son, granddaughter, genetic obvs*
*3 had red hair, 4 can't stand tomatoes.
