Listen Louis Walsh, you're wasting your time here alright?
You're joking me right? Look back at my posts and you'll see Im a Charlton fan first and Everton are my second team, because of Scott Minto.
So, you going to answer my question then?
Ok, I'll take that back re Charlton.
I don't have feelings over Fratton Park.
Why are you bothered about the singing side of the Gwladys Street? Some fans like to sing, some don't, some now and then. Why do you have a problem with that? Why should we all be exactly the same?
I heard they have the Charlton all male singing section at The Valley. Ticker tape and balloons an all.
And so you should.
I've been to Goodison and sat in the Gwladys Street, I'll be honest and say there is a lot better atmosphere in The Valley. If anything, people should stop swearing.
I think the one thing thats better is that Charlton tries to create a carnival atmosphere, the club regularly give out klaxons and jester hats before the game to increase the fun atmosphere. My nine year old son got free tickets from Charlton in the community for winning a Fleetwood Mac singing contest in his local scouts club.
All these small things help I feel.
Exactly, little things like that do help, no doubt younger kids love all that stuff. I've been going in the Gwladys St regularly for nearly 20 years, and we used to get non stop singing loads in there til reserved seating. It died down to virtually nil, and it's hugely down to ticketing. I and many others who are into that part of Everton have asked for even the tiniest improvements and its a constant no. I know of our potential you see, it's frustrating!
I actually can't believe this.
