Interesting read, Moshiri, finances etc

Can't believe the interest rate on these loans were so high, incompetence at it's best. Luckily things seem much better and hopefully I won't be swearing looking at next years graphs.

Thanks Graeme, some mind boggling figures there, but the upshot is that, we are now in a far better shape financially, due to Moshiri's largess.

Good article .. even if very long winded.. basically can skip up to where it starts with EBITDA.. this the line that is most important for clubs.

Although it seems more important than before for clubs to drive a profit the goal for football clubs is success. This means use every ounce of generated cash and debt to seek glory. So not bothered by NIBT really. The main thing is to invest in the squad and be able to finance this without putting the club at risk.

Nice nowadays to be able to even make some money too for clubs.

Read it yesterday.

Is it supposed to be impressive?

Corporate side of the club still a midden

OOC still being unaccountably inflated

Stadiums still pie in the sky and being talked about

Long term debt covered by a repayable loan - so more long term debt, in effect

Still borrowing against TV cash

....hurrah, the new order has arrived.

Give it a rest, you miserable, cantankerous arl git!!!!

@davek bet you'll soon have this up to 300 pages :pint2:
I'm pointing out there seems to be some misapprehension that the recently published accounts make for comforting reading. They dont. They show a club still a basket case and relying on tv cash like a junkie relies on their next methadone fix.

This years accounts were never going to be impressive.

As with Koeman, Moshiri needs time to improve the club from clown hes taking over from.
