Maybe, but I hate the way its all save this Shields lad, who was found guilty of nearly killing a man, there is no evidence to say he is innocent, and this poor fella in Bulgaria is forgotten about. Its a lack of respect for him.

I don't know if he is guilty or not,but with all the cash being raised for Sheilds I find it sad that no-one has thought about giving something to the victim even if shields is innocent some scum bag red is guilty,so a gesture to show that the action perpetrated was not condoned by the true fans?or am I wrong again

Yes, the victims of crime fall away in a shocking manner. I'm sick of hearing about the rights of prisoners, yet failing to hear about the plight of their victims. I'm not saying the first shouldn't have rights. But I am saying we need to get back to understanding just why someone was locked away in the first place.

he has been allowed back to serve his sentence.
i would imagine that if he were to be given a retrial here and released then there would never be anyone sent back here to serve their sentence again, in fact others could end up serving a bit of his. if the lad didnt do it then i feel for him, and with the other guy at some point admitting to it then he shouldve been sent over their to face questioning at least, or them come here. if shields is innocent then some of the most important years of his life have been taken away. i think that is the thing that a lot of neutrals are thinking.

Fair point Kel,it just gets me that they never take any responsibility for what happens I don't think for one minute that anyone wanted Hysal or hillsboro to happen but they have to accept a share of the blame but refuse to.I lost a mate at Sheffield perhaps if he had arrived late he would have been luckier but he arrived in good time as advised and left a wife and children and another mate who went with him has never been the same.

Shields will play the professional victim when he gets home and get paid a lot of money for his story. The real victim will get nothing and may suffer as a result of his injury in years to come.

Those who would pay the likes of Shields for their stories never consider the real victims of crime. That is the real miscarriage of justice.
