I'm really not an expert on hammies and maybe it's a sideline but maybe it helps to understand why a professional is much needed.

In Ferencváros the most important player, the top scorer, skipper suffered hamstring TEAR on the 12th December 2015. Two hamstrings were torn in his ankle. It was 2 month ago. Today he was on the bench, subbed in: an assist and a goal. Absolute amazing work from him and the staff too. This man, Pete Friar (who was the psycho for Sunderland and West Brom if I'm correct) made a miracle with him. Not a strain, a tear. And in 2 month's time the striker is able to play. Not 100% obviously but just shows how important is to have a professional in the medical team. It's more than understandable that he was the first man the striker run to after he scored.

Why take a chance? If Oviedo and Baines aren't fit, he should select Galloway.

He hasn't said he'll take a chance on either in fairness...

Baines has got glass ankles, which is what the rumours have been for a while. He needs it sorting. He'll be available Saturday but probably won't start if Oviedo is out unless he feels 100%.

I have a feeling Oviedo will overcome his knock though.
