And just to put a damper to the joy of actually getting some of our players off the sickbench, we add our new RB to the injurylist. :(

Apparently Jacobsen hurt his shoulder in the game against Portugal yesterday and won't make it to the game against Stoke. A specialist will look at it and if unlucky he's away for a few weeks..

Not really suprised going on his record of injuries feel sorry for him though:(

Pienaar is starting full training next monday according to Dom King, excellent news. Cahill is also back which is also excellent news. Fellaini and Castillo are coming back aswell which will give us other options. Anichebe and Vaughan have also returned.

When is super Shandy back? Not a key player by any means but he's a midfielder and an option in the wide positions.

Losing Osman is also bad news, I hope he's not our for long. He's a key player for us. I feel really sorry for Jacobsen, he's trying to earn a new contract here and the injury gives him limited time to impress and settle down.

Good job he wasn't going to get a game that often anyway. He was bought as cover, nothing else.

That's true although with our squad we need everyone contributing, Jacobsen could have been useful.

Him playing right back would have made us stronger, Neville could have reverted to his natural play making midfield role.;)

Could be a blessing in disguise. At least Neville won't have to play in midfield.

Although we'll probably see Jagielka in midfield now :(

I don't think we'll see Jags in midfield ever again.

With Fellaini and Castillo, Jags can revert back to his CB role with Yobo.

I hope so, Jags despite being an excellent centre half struggles quite badly in midfield, Both on and off the ball.

Rodwell, Osman, Fellaini and Castillo are good options to have centrally. Arteta and Pienaar on the flanks and I really am hoping Moyes uses Van der Meyde as a squad player this season.

It'd give us more options outwide and Osman could be a permanant fixture in the middle instead of having to move outwide where he isn't at his best.

I've never seen a player be such a passenger in a game.
