Bit of a progress update wouldn't go a miss. Doesn't have to give us set dates or games he expects them to be back for, but an idea of what the delays are, if someone has suffered a setback etc. Oviedo is a particular one, if you remember there was an outside of chance of him making the WC, yet here we are in Dec with no sign of a return.

Just keep us in the loop Bob!
I was thinking this, he was jogging around may/june ,had a couple of screws out and it's another 5 weeks

I had a colleague who has had screws removed from rods in his back, and it is taking him a while to get over it, and he isn't a professional footballer. Sometimes operations sound straightforward, and they are, but the healing process for any human (even Brother Brian) can be much more complicated.

Remember when Spock was telling Kirk in Wrath of Khan how long it would take to have the Enterprise fixed?

Kirk: Kirk to Enterprise.

Spock: Spock here.

Kirk: Captain Spock, damage report.

Spock: Admiral, if we go "by the book". like Lieutenant Saavik, hours could seem like days.

Kirk: I read you captain. Let's have it.

Spock: The situation is grave, Admiral. We won't have main power for six "days". Auxiliary power has temporarily failed. Restoration may be possible, in two "days". By the book, Admiral.

Kirk: Meaning you can't even beam us back?

Spock: Not at present.

So when Martinez says Naismith won't be back for three weeks, he means three years. Stones? Five years.

It's all about the match fitness for a few of them now.
Can't be expecting blood and thunder from someone who's been laid up in bed for a few weeks. Returns need easing in
