The fury over this will die down and we'll be slogging through games that don't go for us and the morale will be shattered.
We'll lose our way in January/February with injury and the pressure of it all.
Are people actually arguing here we'd have got 48/50 points this season - which is what we;ll have to do now.
No chance.
We were on track for 45 points, minus 10 almost certainly means we'll be fighting to the end now though.
I disagree though, Dave. People were exhausted last year, but we found a way to stay together. This year, it's come early, with much more chance of saving ourselves, in a completely ridiculous, disproportionate and unfair manor - which often works for us on any given match day at Goodison over the years.
The flip side though is how galvanised will the teams around us be?
