And the potential downside is much greater than the upside. All we could get back is 2 points, but it's not impossible that a new panel could judge the previous decision to be overly lenient.

We know we breached its not like we've been trying to say we were innocent and its important to clear our name the appeal was probably to say we shouldn't be punished twice in one season or whatever but seeing as it makes no difference now that we're safe it would probably have been a total waste of time going ahead with it so why bother.
