So who here believes they know the ins and outs of this club? Apart from the financial side of things (which have to be reported), do we know the ins and outs? Do we know what happened with Rooney? Do we know what happened with Fernandes?

I think we can formulate opinions, but when these opinions become personal attacks on situations that we are not privy to, then I think we need to step back and consider things differently.

At the end of the day, we don't know what goes on behind the scenes, and it makes me laugh that we can **** off someone for apparently screwing us over, and then be elated with his arrival. Kind of like "Yeah I wanted him really". Its hypocritical. We should never assume we know, because unless we are part of the inners of this club, we know nothing.

Yeah i never liked Fernades the first time he only had that one good half a season before he signed for Real Madrid i mean Valencia!

Sorry couldnt resist hes aceness really.

Ye that go's for you aswell, remember this when You come out with the bollock you do. Your opinion is as shiite as every one els's.You dont know what go's on either.

eg.
1.rooney was made to leave to sucure evertons future-bollocks
2.fernandes had no say what so ever about going to spain-bollocks

These are your opinions, an acording to you(above) because you dont know what gos on in the club there shiite.

Plus you cany call me a hypocitical as i hated him before an i hate him now.

Point 1. It was highly likely that Rooney was sold to fill the coffers, and the fact that we have made a profit only because of Rooney proved that they need that money.

Point 2. I can say that Fernandes had no say where he went because a) he says so, b) Moyes implied so, c) he goes to the highest bidder when he is owned the way he was owned.

You see I back my opinions up with reasons and not just insult the guys.

I don't see anything wrong with your reasoning on any of those points to be honest. I share the view that Rooney was sold to secure the club at a time when we were still a selling club.
As for the original Manny deal, I think we were trying to barter for the best deal, and it just blew up in our faces when Valencia came in and offered the company a better deal. If Manny said he was going to join, then I take his word for it and I think it might have been out of his hands.

Now of course there's going to be people who disagree with me, and they have every right to. I'm entitled to my opinion, and so is anyone else, but that doesn't mean I'm going to agree with someone if they counter my argument. I'm just trying to be optimistic, I'm of the opinion that everyone should want to play for us, and so the notion of Fernandes not wanting to is not an option for thought.

Ghost first if Manny was the culprit that messed up the move would Moyse and Kenwright have gone back for him I doubt it but of course non of us really know as for Rooney I had to go to manchester on the way home from the Leeds game at Elland road where he scored, they guy I met is a United nut and he insisted then Rooney was going to them and that it had been sorted and it was just a question of time ,I laughed at him but now I'm not so sure

mate all of our opinions are conjecture, noone just jumps to conclusions we all reason through it, maybe just a bit differently then you do. you say yourself you don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but you seem awful quick to believe rooney's claims about the matter (i believe all that's still being sorted out in court).

if he truly was forced to leave would he celebrate like a madman whenver they score against us, every other class player i've seen dampens the celebration against their former club (eg. cahill at millwall). i'm sure you'll claim its just a response to the way the fan's treated him, but i really doubt he'd do that against his former club if he cared about more than just his own fat salary.

as for manny, i think less information is available about it, but its not as though they can force a player to play for a team he doesn't want to, he isn't a slave to the team nor his third party owners, if a player wants to refuse thats the end of it. like i had said in another thread, becasue of the third party mess, valencia could probably afford to pay him more in salary, and that's what he chose.
