How does that work then ? cameraman and a geezer with a microphone chasing a player down the pitch ?

The more ridiculous this gets the more convinced I am the Football League should break away from the Premier League.

Teams have got one summer to decide whether they are going to jump ship from the PL, after that they can only get in from the bottom of the pyramid like everyone else.

Rename the 3 divisions to "First Division, Second Division and Third Division".

As far as the football league are concerned the winners of the first division are the Champions of England.
