Has any one else noticed how the table is shaking out this week?
We sit 13th wiht 30 points and a -1 GD and Bolton are all the way up at 8th on 33 points with a -1 GD.

If we beat Bolton,
Birmingham beat Stoke (the least likely),
Newcastle and Blackburn draw,
and Chelsea beat Fulham ...
(all perfectly reasonable scenarios)

... then WE JUMP up the table all the way to 8 (tied with Bolton on points but ahead of them on GD).

This week is VERY important for us to make our move on the table.

I reckon that'd pay alright Reidy, and a good chance of happening. Except the Everton winning bit, you can't be safe putting a bet on us right now we could go either way every game!!!

So now we have made Chriswho our #1 tipster, may I have the six winning lottery numbers please for tomorrow :)

We just have to keeep winning and the table looks after itself!

A big win on the weekend please....the league will start to take a more familiar shape, next few weeks

35/1 on paddypower. It's on, and I know who to blame if it goes boobies up.

They gonna offer US a deal on that accy ?

being forum sponsors and all ? and allow us to put the free bet on it as well ? 20 of ours 20 of theirs on it, thus giving double odds ? 35/1 with 40 notes on it would make for a very happy forum if it came in.

Only 10 points off the magic 40 that Moyesy aims for every season! :) :)

Being completely honest, 45 points would be a massive relief for me this season as it'd mean we're a Premier League side next year. And in all honesty, relegation is a more realistic prospect than top eight.

We're a Saha/Fellaini injury away from being no-hopers, we're that fragile.

I will go as far as saying, I will be disappointed if we're not on 54 points after the next 8 games

Bolton (a)
Sunderland (h)
Newcastle (a)
Birmingham (h)
Fulham (h)
Aston Villa (h)
Wolves (a)
Blackburn (h)

***prepares himself for being disappointed in 8 games time...

We always are...

I can see us beating Newcastle, Villa and Wolves. The rest, a combo of draws and "unlucky" defeats.

I'm a pessimist maybe but a realist too. There's absolutely no indication to suggest the pattern of our season is suddenly going to change.

42/44 points after that run of games would make me "happy", for want of a better word.

What I find extremely....annoying...alarming, I don't know, frustrating I guess....is that we can be on 54 points in 8 games, whilst Man Utd already are. They will probably win their next 8 games though too....

I have faith though!! They are games we should be winning!

Well we have overturned a 19 point deficit at xmas before, went on to win the league and finished about 27 ahead of them.
