Thats some transformation in Lucas this season, he was awful speaking to my mates who are reds but now he's one of the better ones.

Lucas has improved greatly but there is ocasionally still a lot to be desired.
Xabi was world class
Aquillani may replace Lucas when he's fit, he has impressed in the few matches that he has taken part in so far.
He'll could come good that Aquilani but same as us waiting for Arteta and Jagielka, its too late.

we need to stop complaining about missing jags, we have the australian captain and an established dutch international, both of whom can play centre back.
the last few games, the problem was a lack of wingers, mainly that gosling who does not have the pace for it was stuck at right midfield. thats where we need reinforcements. as much as people love to criticize osman, we could certainly get by with him on the right, and gosling just isn't fast enough to fill in that role. combine that with pienaar and arteta's injuries and bily's suspension and we had a massive problem.
bill has a point, our full strength squad looks intimidating for sure and by the looks of it, even if we're missing a player or two we can still field a very strong team, but we're not the type of team that should be built on a couple players. i really think if we had more midfield reinforcements capable of playing wide we'd have managed much better as we'd actually have counter attacking options.
tbh i think jo might actually be worthy of starting in the near future as atleast he can somewhat play winger. for the derby, bily should be back so with him and pienaar out wide our team will be immensely stronger. no fella will hurt, but i think regardless of the result, that game is where we'll show that we're still a force to be reckoned with.

Our best 11 is a match for that easily. Carra= a liability these days Agger= not come close to reaching level that he had when he started with the [Poor language removed] Aurelio= never rated him as a good defender Lucas= enough said.
If they were to pick holes in our best 11, who would they slate, Distin=too old, never top notch, Neville= obvious reasons, despite good leadership abilities, a limited footballer, Yak= lazy. Who else, cant see much in arteta, pienaar,saha,baines,jags,heitinga,billy, to criticise
