Simple adjustment to our tactics would make the world of difference- play the ball up to him and tell mykolenko to make the overlapping run - the full back would have to either detach from ndiaye who could cause chaos with the space or leave the space for mykolenko who ndiaye is good enough to find with his close control - either way causes problems for the opposition.

Robinson couldn't get any games here, funny we never go back to the well with any buy back clauses

…agree it was poor. I distinctly remember posting at the time he was worth keeping despite his injuries as a back-up to Baines who was coming to the end of his career. It annoyed me (I’m sure those historic posts are still on here). His speed alone made him stand out and he was soon linked with clubs at home and abroad.

To be fair, not many get away but he’s the one who certainly did. Agree about the options to buy and sell-on clauses but apparently Fulham got him for £2m.

Weird one as like you it felt like a silly one to let go when we did after a good loan but according to all sources he wasn't particularly highly rated by anyone in the youth setup. Even teammates at the time have spoken since with some surprise at how far he's gone.

….never seen those comments, he certainly looked the part as far as a few of us on here were concerned.

….looked off the pace, he’s been well marked these last two games.

No idea why he’s not considered for no10 spot, even for a short period before he brought Harrison on.

He's been better in other games but I thought he was still significantly better than Lindstrom.
