This is actually very illustrative of the point I was going to make. He’s going to have more end product when he’s not being asked to attack from that far away from the goal. Beating the man on halfway is great but that’s what Newcastle wants because they have time to cover it. It’s a tactical failure.

I'd gouge my eyes out if he wasn't playing for us this season. A truly quality player and the only one who understands even the basics of attacking.

The amount of times a forward wasn't ball side or offered a pass to feet or going behind is mind bending. Just a bunch of statues other than him when we have possession.
