That's a superb point his decision making for an attacking player that is relatively young is impressive. He also seems to possess that quality where he can deliver with the end product more consistently beyond the capacity of what gray and iwobi displayed
Yeah, he just looks more of a threat doesn’t he, to go with the skill. Doesn’t flatter to deceive. When to do another step over, when to release the pass, when to shoot etc. he’s getting it right at the moment. It’s what makes the difference between average players and top players, that more consistent end product/ decision making in the final third. Very exciting signing. Been needing a player like this for so long!

He is a dancer. Incredible on the dribble. I would actually say his pretty technique is sloppy but in a good technical way. Looks like he is about to screw it up but he keeps the ball so close to him that he ends up pulling something out of a hat.

I know what you mean though 🤭

I know what you mean too! He plays football like a jazz drummer plays the drums; it looks like chaos, but the result is beautifully right on time.

If we had Baines mk II, Dyche wouldn’t let him cross the half way line and would bench him for Young or Myko if he did.

But yeah, a good footballer at left back and could be some nice link up.

Was saying the other day to my brother, Dyche given the peak Moyes team would choose both Mykolenko and the current version of Coleman over Baines and a peak Coleman.

The current Seamus knows his legs are gone so doesn't get forward anymore the Seamus of 26-29 Dyche would have been screaming at for exposing his CBs, as for Baines - Dyche never would have bought or played him as he was a far better attacker than defender.

Yup agree, now if that decision making clicks with Lindstrom too we'd have some real threat up front.

Hope that turns out to be true. Burnley would be a good move for him, but they probably wouldn't look at him if they get promoted. He's nowhere near Premier League quality imo. Same as Harrison.

Think we will see a sake of a few with new owners mate, they'll put money in for sure but they'll add to it by getting shut if players who do t fit the system under a new manager and current or new DoF

By that reasoning almost every signing every team has ever made is a gamble, because the team that bought them paid more than the other teams were willing to pay for it.

That's literally how almost every signing is. Can you explain what the actual reason was that no one else bought him at that price?
If you want my best

He had underwhelmed at Marseille, and only produced a couple of good seasons olin the championship. Talent was obvious but jury was still out whether the temperament and key ingredients to make an impact in the premier league.

Many players shine in the champiosnship then struggle in the premier league. Marseille were keen to get rid after a season.
Maupay was a similar gamble at a similar price range. Some cut it, some don’t, very few shine.

Yeah noticed that vs Leicester, N'Diaye had the ball and Young had acres of space at the left wing but didn't run into it, which resulted in a back pass and their defense could just sit tight in the middle like a big blob of meat.

There’s literally no point Young overlapping though as he has very little pace and no left foot. Just a token gesture.
