It seems like a lot of braindead envious people have been criticizing Beckham for becoming the "face" of the upcoming Qatar WC in 2022, and he is being paid 150m for the whole campaign, and this involves promoting Qatar. A lot of people have said he is turning a blind eye on all the slavery and homophobia that takes place in Qatar. I don't particularly agree with this. Considering Beckham has a family, 150m would be incredibly hard to turn down in any circumstance. Anyways if you were Beckham, would you accept this role for a 150m payout?

The obvious point is... yes, I would absolutely take 150m to promote them because I'm no where near where I want to be financially. Beckham is.

So I'd like to think if I were in his shoes, I would say no.

I'd probably find a happy medium. Take the money and just troll them and make the contract such a joke that they terminate. Bring a gilbert gottfried, or larry david or someother Jewish comedian or other to speak at every appearance.
