If You had a Time Machine......

Inspired by a post in another thread, if you had a time machine what one thing would you go back and change in the history of EFC?

Would it be go to back to 1892 and convince the board to pay the extra money?

Go back to 1986 and try to get Ferguson before he went to United?

Go back to 1977 and try to sign Dalglish?

1994 - Don't appoint Mike Walker?

What would it be?

No other time necessary

Make sure English football wasn't collectively punished for the mayhem of Heysel.

Or.....just making the board pay the rent rise at Anfield.....;)

I'd go back to just when @Thomasc was 'coming of age' (literally!)...and direct sell to him a line of of disposable fap sock.
I would be a multi-millionaire by now.
Similarly, I would have sold to @ProZ some colon binders...or, failing that, a special pre-wash formulation, sanitising dirty bills.

Would go back and hire Alex Ferguson before United did.

I have always thought that if Kevin Brock had not made that fateful back pass then Howard would have been fired the next day and IMO Alex Ferguson would have been offered the job.

But for Heysel, who knows what might have happened......Howard might have kicked on and became all that Ferguson went on to become in the ensuing couple of decades.

But only after Mark Robins had provided the Scot with his own Kevin Brock moment :)

If I had a time machine...

It would be bigger on the inside than the outside, painted blue and resemble a 1960's Police Box.
I would then make a tv series and sell the rights to the BBC.

I would then travel in time and make McGeadys dad sterile before he could ever sow his oats.

The End.

I would have invaded the Pitch when Hibbo scored.

Sat in my seat like a tool, while Lids streamed past me. Regret it all the time :(

I would have.....hit Harry over the head the moment he thought selling Bally to Arsenal was a good idea in 1972.

I would have kidnapped Clive Thomas on a certain Saturday morning in April 1977

I would have personally fetched Gary Lineker's boots to Oxford in April 1986.

I would have pointed a gun at Peter Johnson and made him give Big Joe the money for Torre Andre Flo in 1997.

I would have fired Roberto Martinez before we went to Anfield and Wembley in April just gone.

Go back to the start of last season with the fixture list complete, sports almanac style and be mega rich this season

Go back to that night in Belgium and stop those nasty Chelsea fans.

Had that not happened Lineker wouldn't have left and we would have won the european cup in 86 and history would have been different as the side wouldn't have broken up and we'd have been one of the top clubs in England when the Sky money arrived.
