If we had a new stadium

Wouldn't argue much on your stand names, though I might just call one stand "The Holy Trinity Stand" or else Harvey would get missed out. Not keen on the "New Goodison" idea though. If we move, we won't be on Goodison Road any more, so, while it's a nice idea, I'd go for something which reflects whereever it got built.

My thoughts EXACTLY. Why wait until they are no longer with us util we honour them. We missed out on two opportunities, lets not waste a third.

I have never been a great fan of symbolic gestures like naming stands etc. Hence my earlier frivolous contribution. There are so many contenders that you can't do them all that honour. A new stadium does not necessarily have to hark back to the glorious past, why can't we see it as the prelude to a glorious future instead.

I'd like it if a new build incorporated the blue/white latticework along the front of upper tiers like bullens etc.

If it was Walton Hall Park:

Chang Stadium

1. Walton Hall Park End (southern)
2. Dixie Dean Stand (western stand)
3. Howard Kendell Stand (eastern stand)
4. Blackthorne Road End (northern)

Acknowledging what has come before; but also giving WHP distinction. Sponsorship/naming rights for the official name are inevitable! Much needed $$$

Sorry, I'm being pedantic.

If/when we get a new ground, the corporate hospitality and private suites/boxes can/should/will likely be named after players/managers - W.R.Dean, Alex Young, Holy Trinity, Harry Catterick etc etc.
A new ground would 99.9% be subject to commercial naming rights deals, and maybe individual stands too.

One of them should probably be called the Goodison Park stand.

I thought that as well, the side/end facing Goodison, but now i think it would be best to start with a fresh slate altogether, in a weird way its sorta disrespectful to have one parks name on another park - IMO
