If we don't get into the top 4 what are your predictions for Everton football club

Whilst I agree with his comment, maybe the delivery is a bit curt, we have a very slim chance of a top 5 finish, we have a shallow team, we are a good side, not a top 4 side; we are about 4 or 5 players off a top 4 side.

you got it in for me Bry ??

They have lost twice as many as us so whats to say they wont lose another 3-4 games

We are only 3 points behind them ffs and people are saying we can not finish in the top 4 becasue of a draw against Swansea

The point being, they've lost twice as many yet are 3 points in front.

We draw too many.

Na lad. We'd get smashed. We'd have a good go of Europa. League form would struggle though

We wouldn't get smashed, we have small amounts of quality. Not lots all over the pitch which limits the obvious bread and butter need for squad depth. Chicken and egg situation, a champions league qualification and some proper money to Moyes ( which is another worry!) may see us better off, but I am worried so many get excited about our footy when whilst it's improved, is still one dimensional at times as proved today.

Mine will be Moyes gone, Felli gone and the rest will probably stay for the near future, as for next manager I think given that we will know that Moyes is leaving (as he will not of committed to a new contract) then Martinez is nailed on.

I don't see why we can't get 4th - spurs, us and arsenal are about as consistent as each other, and I think it will be tight between us and them throughout the season. If when we get gibson and miralles back we can keep them fit, then I think it's more promising. For now though, I think we need to drop Felli back into midfield and then play Vic with Jelavic.

But, if we don't finish fourth, Felli will be gone. I think Moyes knows that and would be "OK" with it given that Felli would be one asking for the move because we are not in the CL. I think the bigger thing for moyes is how much money does he get to keep pushing on. I don't think we will suddenly have a huge crisis just because we finish 5th or 6th

agree mate but the problem is we are bottlers, it always is

Spurs WIN
Arsenal WIN
Everton WIN

week after:

Spurs Draw/Loss
Arsenal Draw/ Loss
Everton Draw/Loss

we can never make ground up when our rivals drop points thats why we have lost less games but are still 3 points behind spurs- would be 5 points behind had we not beaten them and drew. We always have done this same as the years when we were chasing the RS for 4th spot whenever they slipped up you could count on us slipping up aswell.

That makes Spurs and Arsenal bottlers as well. Oh and United when they don't take advantage when City slip up. And City when they don't take advantage when United slip.

This Everton team is many things but 'bottlers' isn't one of them.

We won't be top four the gap with the mancs and Chelsea is too big in class and to steal the 4th we needed to have been ruthless vs Swansea, reading, qpr, etc to take advantage of arsenal red****e and spurs being below par... Euro cup is doable still 5th or 6th but we need to sign goal scorers. Moyes gone in summer ok with me if we sign a manager who can build teams and has a winning mentality not the "don't lose" mindset moyes has that stops us getting to the next stage( how many times have we sat deep for 30 mins trying to defend a one goal lead and **** ourselves every time we give the ball away )

moyes effectively did the same job here as martin o neil did for leicester back in the day, and look what happened to them when he left.
the next manager will be someone who does what kenright says and accepts transfer money will come from players sold. which rules out manager like martinez and martin jol, wouldnt be surprised of he gives round a 1 year contract and see how he does.

We've shown signs of improvement this season, but we are bad bottlers lol. Every season there's always a period where we have a chance to make up ground and go above/get close to 4th and we end up drawing the next game. Not to mention the embarrassment of last years derbies. Semi final scarred me for life

Fans who say we'll never or we never will reach CL are fans who have no ambition, we're only 3 points behind Spurs who have United next week and I we have Southampton. Even Ossie said on his interview that CL is our top target, it's going to be difficult but we have a chance. KEEP THE FAITH COYB!

Neville will get 1st crack at it, his price will be right
