Was in the ale house b4 the preston game the other day, and was having a convo with the lads about who we would like too see in charge if mr Moyes was too leave. The final name we came up with after a few beers was Slaven Bilic. Was just wondering if anyone has any other names too throw into the hat (y)

Firstly, Moyes to stay for the foreseeable future.

But yeah, Bilic might do the business, but has no experience at club level.

Ideally, some like Roberto Mancini who's out of work at the moment, probably more likely to end up with Avram Grant though!...

Big fan of Craig Levein up at Dundee Utd and even Dave Jones has done a good job at Cardiff recently on a shoe-string budget.

Please just dont mention Sven...I will not survive that! I cannot even think of what it will be like at the club if DM leaves. Its unthinkable!!!

The worst that could happen would be Pip Neville player manager. On the subject of Neville, he's just signed a new deal to 2012, dohh!!!

Bilic - No experience at club level
Dave Jones - You having a giraffe!?
Ally McCoist - What?!
Roberto mancini? Don't think he'd come to us somehow.

Some bloody crazy suggestions on here!

Personally i'd take Mark Hughes or Martin O'Neil if we could prise them away from their current clubs, but if not then i'd look at maybe Roy Keane.

I think we've progressed to much to take on an untried manager again like we did with Moyes, and we'd struggle to entice a 'top manager' without the transfer funds to make it appealing to such a candidate.

My main fear if we ever lost Moyes would be a mass exodus of playes, similar to whats happening at Blackburn.

We would be in with a shout for Hughes as when he doesn't win the French Ligue 1 he will be sacked by Thaksin.

Moyes is here for the next 5 years at least.

Who knows what will be out there in terms of potential replacements by that time.

i think dave jones would be about the level we'd be looking & he'd be a reasonable candidate.
