To be honest Tubes I was mostly winding you up, hence my antagonistic subtlety in my posts.

Apologies lid. The other points I did mean though with regards to lids jumping all over others when debating (irony!) and Myth just brought up a good point about the tendency to write off players and manager alike before being given a chance.

No, you're right mate. Being wrong about something is not a stick to beat somebody with, but when it's a self-appointed expert, then well, surely they're asking for it?

I've seen the same people who were pissed off with Moyes, slagging Martinez off early in to his reign? Christ knows what they wanted like??? Maybe they just wanted to be self appointed experts?

Think it's just the way they type. I do it all the time, yet 99% of what I type I have no job experience of etc.

Some people are more cautious in how they type, others aren't, and there's an infinite amount of ways of getting the same point across. I have to take on board what Chico just said about me being aggressive in my viewpoints - that has surprised me as I know I'm assertive, but if I intimidate with what I say and discourage people from replying then that's a different story.

Regardless, they can be countered the same way - I could type all this in two lines of text speak and be responded to in the same manner, for example.

Personally, I think vaulting lids is hilarious. I literally laughed out loud when @Del went to the vaults with Zatara.

I think the sound lids usually have a laugh at themselves when they get vaulted as well.

This Tiki - Taka nonsense is ridiculous.

I'm lost as to how keeping the ball with a deep midfield and short passing is going to win football matches? If the striker is totally isolated then you may as well just stick an 8ft giant up front and lump it up to him...little short passes gets you nowhere.

ANY inferior side to us can simply stick men behind the ball and wait for 'Zidane' (Osman) to pick their defence apart, in reality it isn't going to happen when they can defend in numbers.

The comments I made previously about these new signings (other than the loan which I wasn't negative about) are now making a bit more sense, Kone is a total donkey and NEVER a first choice striker....if he was and bearing In mind Martinez signed him, then why isn't he starting in front of or alongside jelavic ? TOTAL waste of money, Alcaraz signing on fee and wages are worthless for an injury prone player who, if Heitinga stays means were wasting money on one of them....

We are literally Liverpool without Suarez, I was critical of his signings but I assumed Martinez would initiate some of the attacking play we had under Moyes at times.

At this rate we'll be the best passers in the league over 6 yards....and no 7th place trophy.

In fairness, he was mostly right... in regards to those first three games anyway.

Hard to remember those games, so much has changed, but we were awful and most of that comment was correct.
Kone sucked the few games he played, then got injured for the season, waste of money.
Alkaraz was injured throughout the majority of the season so waste of funds.
We were not attacking at all
We were super slow in our passing and build up play and opponents could walk back to get into position.
Offered no attack and looked well shakey in defence.

The point though, is that patience is required sometimes. When you post knee jerking BS, you will always run the risk of being vaulted...and in my humble opinion, rightly so.
