I think we should wait until 10 or 15 games in before making judgement.

There is new manager, new coaches, new staff, new tactics.

New system at the moment and it shows, give it time, everyone will know each others place, we will play faster.

PS, if we had in-form strikers we'd be flying.

...this is all a bit silly, really. Tikki Takki is fine, one up front is fine, Wimbledon is fine, Barcelona is fine. Players and winning is what matters.

This Tiki - Taka nonsense is ridiculous.

I'm lost as to how keeping the ball with a deep midfield and short passing is going to win football matches? If the striker is totally isolated then you may as well just stick an 8ft giant up front and lump it up to him...little short passes gets you nowhere.

ANY inferior side to us can simply stick men behind the ball and wait for 'Zidane' (Osman) to pick their defence apart, in reality it isn't going to happen when they can defend in numbers.

The comments I made previously about these new signings (other than the loan which I wasn't negative about) are now making a bit more sense, Kone is a total donkey and NEVER a first choice striker....if he was and bearing In mind Martinez signed him, then why isn't he starting in front of or alongside jelavic ? TOTAL waste of money, Alcaraz signing on fee and wages are worthless for an injury prone player who, if Heitinga stays means were wasting money on one of them....

We are literally Liverpool without Suarez, I was critical of his signings but I assumed Martinez would initiate some of the attacking play we had under Moyes at times.

At this rate we'll be the best passers in the league over 6 yards....and no 7th place trophy.

TBH I disagree with most of this. First off we don't actually play tiki-taka football. People are just lazily using that label cos Bob's Spanish. It's patient passing football, thats all. We haven't been as fluid as I'd like but we had more than enough chances to win all three so far.

Kone may not have been bought to be first choice. He hasn't been so far.

Alcaraz I agree with as we have far too many CB's but it's hardly leaving Messi on the bench.

So it begins...

MOYLES... er Martinez out! What?

Martinez has got 50% of it right so far. 3 League games and we've only conceded 2 goals which were arguably pretty lucky. All that is missing is the final ball/goal scorer touch.

An early goal in these tight games where the opposition puts 11 men behind the ball will do us wonders by opening the game right up.

Chelsea will come at us instead of parking the bus which will play right into our hands as well.

Your whole post is knee-jerky and over the top.

Kone is far from a total donkey. Neither forward has shown enough in front of goal with the chances theyve gotten but IMO it seems Kones holdup, link play and passing is looking better and he deserves the nod versus Chelsea.

Calling any signing a TOTAL waste of money is just too much after not much of a preseason and only a game and half on the pitch. Maybe Jelavic is getting the nod, as Kone is slightly off being fully fit? Maybe Martinez in general will change things gradually rather than all at once.

If you watch the games closely you'll see we haven't changed much from last season but some of the players are not at the races just yet.

Mourinho will probably have had reports from all these games. He'll know where we struggled, don't be surprised if they sit back and try to pick us off on the counter.

We've got the worst strikers in the league, add that to slow arsed go nowhere buildup play and it's almost inevitable that we won't score unless it's a flukey one.

I thought Alcaraz is going to replace Heitinga as our 3rd/4th choice CB. It looks a waste now since Heitinga is still here and we have Stones as well.
