If Moyes repeats the same thing next week I may commit suicide

I saw very little of the match as my streams were lame, but sounds like the injuries screwed us up.

But can help but think Moyes didn't get it right...again.

I could be wrong though.

It did. The injury to Rodwell completely destroyed out momentum.

I think he had a decent starting lineup with a plan to likely sub stracq and donovan at some point. Injuries forced his hand again and again and in the end we were missing key positions, and some of the players were knackered. I can't really blame the piss poor game completey on Moyes, the weather and injuries played a major role.

This. I suspect this was the plan, it was noticeable in second half that they both looked shattered. But we were pretyy poor all the same

Is that ignore feature not working there lid?

He played 442 and we lost. If he hadn't you'd of criticised. Says it all.

There are a few of them that want their cake and demand they eat it too. A very confusing state of affairs that usually I would expect to find Elsewhere.

At least he attempted the 4-4-2.

Granted, it was with Saha, Neville and Heitinga in centre mid (but to be honest he had little choice as Rodwell wasn't fit and Bily and Cahill are awful at the moment), no Barkley on the bench etc. but it was an improvement. At least he's trying something new.

I'm not going to criticise Moyes tonight. He had three injuries to contend with and couldn't take certain players off like Saha and Stracqualursi, even Donovan, who had ran out of gas completely.

Criticise where criticism is due - Moyes did not much wrong tonight.

That old 20 20 hindsight shows Rodwell shouldn't have been risked.
Jagielka off was a shock, and it seems his broken toe is still an issue (how long does it take to heal/heel (ffs) ?)
Osman had looked good and the poor Bolton midfield struggled to shackle him, I missed why he went off.
Why weren't Barkley, Baxter, Vellios thrown on? They could have won the league for us tonight.

Ah the 20 20 nature of hindsight. How I always marvel at such scholars.
When did Gueye come to the club and how many appearances has he made? He was/is a France under 21 international as well isn't he?

I'm not whinging about the fact Rodwell got injured mate, just that Barkley wasn't included.
As to your question I'm not sure, wikipedia knows though.

Moyes: "Bolton deserved to win the game. I’ve got no qualms with the result; you can’t perform like that and expect to win."

It does sound like we can't blame Moyes. The injuries messed it up.

We'd nearly all been asking for 4-4-2 but look what it did.

I'm worried. First half sounded ok, just ok, but surely we can cope better if some injuries happen?!

Thinking again, a lot of squads have been able to mix and rotate their squads over the busy festive fixtures?! We havnt as much. Could that be a factor?

I'll let Moyes off with that. He didn't have too much choice, and at least he tried 442. Couldn't really change anything with his subs either could he?
