If Kenwright lowered the asking price...

Ye your talking that sort of money. Everyone knows we need a new stadium. To be able to compete for trophies and top 4 the squad will need a major investment. When I talk about fans buying the club I'm not talking just about those who attend matches. I am talking about all Everton fans worldwide. You don't need 6250 per fan either. You can do a share issue at a price that everyone can buy a share. Someone may want to buy 100000£ worth while someone else 500£. It would be more like a cooperative owning the club. I'm no expert but to me it is better than some yank buying the club hoping to make a quick buck but maybe end up bankrupt the club...

Do you think though there are enough blues around the world to contribute £500m and then put together a fans cooperative to but it ?

For me be it the red knights for united or all the talk of a fans group buying the RS it never happens does it ? I know Pompey fans trust are putting something together but let's face it its been a car crash , is a long way from a succesful ending and it's a million miles away from a £500m buy out .

I can see where it's a nice romantic idea and even makes sense but I just think its a pipe dream unfortunately mate .

So you think it's impossible for anyone to buy the club as it'd take £500m to make a difference (even though a number of other clubs have been bought ) but you want the fans to buy ? Being incredibly generous lets say 40,000 go the game but to be even fairer lets double it we'd still need £6,250 each to sort it , I don't fancy our chances to be honest .

I can only think of two clubs where that sort of money has been spent after the buy.
The lady is very correct in her post.
