[Poor language removed] me!!!! only just got in after the game (had a few in West Derby after the game) wot a bloody player this lad turned out to be. I am not ashamed to admit I was a not convinced and thought this lad was [Poor language removed] (based this on watching villa both home and away last year and never noticing him) how wrong was I. Utter class, the lad was everywhere and read the game so well it was a pleasure to watch and reminded me of Paul Bracewell in the 80's. Anyway in the dog house (was meant to be home for 7 to take the Mrs to the Orchid Gardens for a meal) so this happy fat bald toffee is off to his pit. COYFB FTRS...

Even more impressive considering he was up against arguably 2 of the best defensive midfielders in the league (dier and wanyama). Just need another box to box midfielder to play alongside him. Don't need two defensive midfielders with this lad in the team, he was all over the pitch doing the work of 2 men.

Great prem debut.. shows we know what we are doing going forward with this new regime ... nice seeing a few wobbly heads posting saying how good he was and if you check back saying how gash a signing he was :)
also ace to be around positivity and expectancy in the ground today
COYB

also happy to be pleasantly surprised by his performance today...with efforts like that you'd think more of us would've noticed him at Villa, but maybe he got blunted by their collective awfulness. Whoever scouted him for us looks to have done well.
