You think Begovic is worse than what we have? I mean, I honestly have no idea how to rate goalkeepers, since I really only see them stop shots and crosses, and I know there's a lot more to it.

Weirdly, I feel comfortable with Stekelenburg in goal as he is vastly superior to what we've been accustomed to for so long. Not saying we still can't improve though.

you have to be thinking some agents are furious at themselves for putting in a clause as low as that in their players contracts seeing what average to decent players are going for in this window..

Really hope he plays saturday, From the (admittedly) little clips I've watched...he looks fabulous. A terrier, A mini midfield general. We so need a player who can press, Pass, tackle, always looking for the ball and always aims for forward momentum. Been a while since we've had that.

Every Villa fan I know (all 3) has congratulated me cuz, according to them, we've signed their best player last season.

But you know, some lads on the Villa forum said he's not so great so we should write him off instantly and sell him for 1p.

The AVFC owner was livid that Gueye was leaving. That should tell you something. If Niasse was sold for 11 mill you wouldn't have seen that reaction from the Mosh.
