being told what to do is likely to make him feel uncomfortable and that LGBT stuff is vastly politicised so you are not really supporting anything either way

Fair point, I'd like to make the point that he never actually stated homophobic beliefs, he just never played in a game of football and the rest was assumed.

I wouldn't be bothered if he was part of the Hitler Youth if he can add some steel and purpose to our current '[Poor language removed]' midfield.
