I do think you can make an argument that there is a distinction between wearing a sponsor, that everyone knows is paying for the privilege, and wearing a social message that the club is promoting gratis, in part of a semi-political/semi-cultural/etc. campaign. Of course, I suppose Gana could wear the shirt and claim he did it because it was the club's shirt and he's part of the club even if he doesn't support the club's messaging. But not sure that would limit any of the criticism directed toward him, TBH.
Regardless, love Gana. I don't want to saddle us with extra weight that isn't performing, but he always seemed like exactly the type of hard worker/ideal teammate we need more of if FL is going to successfully rebuild this thing.
