I even said it myself! It was a good price for an older player who we picked up for 7 million, I even questioned his go forward ability, but still I didn't want him to go. To make things worse his replacement has been injured so we don't know if what the real situation is. We have just got the clusterbeep to show for now.

To flip that a little bit, we're not in a position to wring the best from the final years out of our players and thumb our noses at the loss in transfer values. I didn't want him to go, but it freed up funds and long term is probably the right move for us. It's just the way it is at the moment.
