Equipe says it will be for slightly less than would have been in January. Probably arguing over add-ons.
Fingers crossed Brands has someone up his sleeve.

You have to weigh up how important he is, and he is one of the best in the league at what he does. Even at 30m, were looking at 40-50m to replace a player as good as he is.

I'm honestly not that arsed about us selling him. He has been good at a time we have struggled, but the way I look at it we still finished 8th. The teams above us don't have a similar player playing week in week out.

It may allow us to change our style to have a more productive centre midfield, rather than just breaking up play and getting the ball out to the wings.

Are you forgetting about Kante?

Whatever the outcome on this I will be content.

If he stays he is an important part of the team. His attitude has always been class.

If he goes it shows that the club will not stand in the way of a player approaching the twilight of their career a chance to play at the very top. Our ambition is to get there, but we are not there yet.

Bodes well for attracting players here too.

I would be sad to see him go if he leaves, but I would wish him well.
