Wish him all the best. 30m is a cracking deal for a 30yr old DM if we actually reinvest that wisely. He's been important to how we've had to play in the past, but I'd hope any replacement is more of an all round player than him and we aren't so reliant in the future on having a player constantly shielding a weak defence.

One thing that is clear is that the powers that be tossers are not keeping the Manager informed as he clearly had no idea that Gueye was on his way for a medical the next day when he was talking about him after the matches yesterday. Very poor from Everton as always and they better have him a replacement lined up ready to be announced as Silva has repeatedly requested for several months.
