At this point he’s that old bloke that’s come to make the numbers up at 5’s. Too slow for the players around him, second touch is a tackle.

No idea why after all these years playing his specific role at a very high level, he suddenly thinks he’s a gifted playmaker with free reign to wander literally anywhere in the attacking half.

Our other midfielders have no idea at all where he is.

He's free to play international football as long as he wants

Moyes needs to drop him from the team. If a young player put in these performances Moyes wouldn't have him on the bench

tim was very good, won the ball back more than gana, passing was sloppy though, but so was idrissa

He is an excellent and important player for us and always has been. Seems like AFCON has killed him off and does need a rest. Same applies to Illy who is not influencing games like he did. Trust issues is what can hold back Moyes. He has to have total faith in a player before he drops the trusted yet waning and tired players. Always been his trait. Possibly a weakness of his but regardless Moyes has done a good job. Problem is and always has been .....we want more and expect more and when the Board listens to the fans we have what we have had for the last 5 years or so
