Not keen on second comings, but this lad is a pure professional with the ability to match. A position barring injury can be played to late 30s. Smart but of business footballing and financial.

Looks after the ball better now than he did in his first spell here. I suppose when you are playing and training with some of the best players around, at a club like PSG, your standards will improve.

It's such a relief to have a player that actually knows what to do in that deep midfield position. West Ham didn't even bother closing him down as the game went on - makes a huge difference, and we had a lot more of the ball as a result.

Only one game but he looks a class above on t he ball, he wasnt that good in possession in his first spell.

He probably won’t cover as much ground as he used to but he looks a smarter and more developed player. Could be a huge buy this
