How the mediocre have fallen.

Not that it wasn't obvious a mile off before he signed. He's always been a cabbage in possession and completely reactive off the ball (poor positioning, doesn't track runners), which is probably why PSG left him on the bench for all but one of five CL semi-final legs and the final itself. They realised they'd been sold a bill of goods, but I doubt they harboured any real hope that they'd be able to sell it back.

Time for his cargo cult to admit that he isn't even a good pro, either. Again, very obvious if you apply the simple rule that anybody who played for Everton in 2017/18 is not to be trusted.

Just a complete lack of imagination from the club yet again to go in for a player whose performance levels had clearly dropped just because he played for us.
