Who would have thought a sentimental decision to re-sign an ex player, a million miles past their best, who was never any better than bang average in the first place, would not work out?
Being asked to do stuff that isn’t in his locker unfortunately. He’s a spoiler and a pretty good one. Let him do that and put someone next to him that can do the rest of it once he’s won the ball and he won’t look bad.
This is the way I see it. All alone left to cope with onrushing midfielders left, right and centre. He needs Onana or Garner alongside him at all times.
He is not good with the ball especially at long passes but he still stops a good amount of attacks on his lonesome.
I think him and Coleman should retire mid season.
I said we would get a good 3months before he went to the world cup and came back finished, boy was I wrong.
Getting worse every game. Again gave the ball away about 5 times and mostly under no pressure.
