Ian Wright on Everton and David Moyes

"Ian, we're not talking about the top 6"

Then they proceed to talk about Everton who are 6th

Wright never bothered me until his moronic classless performance at half-time as a pundit in the England-Denmark World Cup match back in 2002. Not sure if he's had much mainstream punditry since then.

Ian wright didn't make that comment...... He was lead into the conversation by the interviewer.

To start off he said the show was about teams outside the top six - Ian Wright said that himself right at the beginning. You clearly missed it. So you're wrong, Ian Wright set the entire scene up himself.

They then focused on last year not this year, with the 7th comment. Isn't the show about this season and not last???

Try watching it again, Ian Wright laid out the entire theme for the show right from the off. No one set him up or put words in his mouth.

I have no idea what angle you're coming from. Other tha basing Ian weights interview and comments on the interviewers words. Thanks xxx

If you've no idea where everyone is coming from, here's some help:

Wright's argument was that having a full stadium isn't a good thing because we've only cracked the 4th spot once. His tone is that we only do well out of good coaching and luck. What's wrong with good coaching? And isn't the point to pack out the stadium? The guys a moronic tit, if anything we get a host of bad luck and poor decisions against us every season.

He then says we don't have the squad to finish off the season, and that he's not sure what Moyes can do without money. You can argue that a host of teams don't have the squad to finish off the season, Including Spurs and Arsenal. Again, he's a tit. The only thing he said that was accurate was that we are lacking in funds.

The Co commentator asks about money coming in from an investor/ buyer. This is where Wright consolidated the fact he's got the same IQ as my dog.

He said Moyes would stay but only because he would want to finish off what he started, the tone was lacklustre and suggested he wouldn't be staying for any other reason. Maybe a manager would stay because he had a passion for the club? or a love of the fans? If you can't recognise when someone is being derogatory, I'm not sure what to say.

Martinez is mentioned, his opinion is he would do no better or worse than Moyes. That's fair enough.

Wright then says that Everton could potentially do something with money behind them, but hen says why would a top end player come to Everton 20-30 million pound player. He said it's a whole other story even if Everton do get money. Seriously Stend I can't for the life of me even comprehend how you can be positive about this tit. Why on earth would a player have gone to City? Chelsea? Who the hell were either club before their cash injections, at least we have a host of history behind us, a big fan base, a good manager, a first 11 as good as any in the Prem, and historically the 4th most successful club in English football. The guy is either borderline retarded, or he knew exactly what he was saying. For me Wright is of the same magnitude as Benitez in terms of shear bellended'ness!

Stend he did nothing but slight us all the way through this interview, I'm not quite sure how you missed all that??

He's "Wright" about everything apart from the 25-30m player part. You've made assumptions on part of his comments.

Errm no, I have ears and the ability to listen. Try going back and watching it again (y)

You're basing your argument on what you've decided to make up, and not what was actually said. Nothing wrong with admitting you were wrong.

I've watched it everything he's said is correct bar the 25m-30m player shout.

He was lead into the conversation about Everton.

If we finish in the top 4 it will be down to good coaching and a bit of luck. True.

We don't have the squad to finish off (reach top 4). True.

Moyes has took us as far as he can without money. True

Martinez would be in the same boat. True

I listened and although he doesn't think much of our club, he's not the only one. Outsiders just see us as punching above our weight. But a good side. Nothing more.

What do you want him to say. Everton are dead on for fourth. Moyes can win the league without money. Everton have the top 4 best squad in the league. Everything said is correct.

What's this 7th bollox? Err why is he calling the Sh1te top 6?

Premier League 2009-10 to present day

Everton 143-229
RS 144-228

I don't see much difference - but if there is one it's in our favour.
