Its just a film with some "shocking" scenes inserted to try and compare them to some political statement.

Its all just pretend and anyone who goes into it knowing that those scenes exist should really be all meh about it. Yes they're evil people who do nasty things but the best way to react to something done purely to shock is not to be shocked at all, the opposite of what they want.

Hahaha when that comes up in the film it was hilarious. So much WTF.

It's totally over the top and shocking but it's well made and tells a decent enough story. Not the faint hearted though and its not all pointless gore with no storyline like HC 2.

I dont mind splatter films as long as there's a point to it. ASF is one of those arty type films.

Wouldnt exactly say the film makers are evil tbh. Like you said, it's not real. Think it's a well made film and despite it's horrendous-ness I quite enjoyed it. Completely and utterly disturbing though. As much as I think it's a decent film, I could never recommend watching it.
