Thanks Roberto you absolutely prince of a man so much you've done beyond a respectable league placing.

The advancement of Barkley, Stones and Oviedo the ability to win when playing badly the glorious moment of destroying the OT hoodoo running rampant against the RS at Goodison and the breathtaking attacking football that impressed a nation.

You plucked this club from stagnant waters of no ambition where division and fear ruled and re-opened the School of Science. You inspired with your words and made us proud. A line in the sand about Utd nicking our players at will and on the cheap was drawn and you ripped the piss out the media re Barkley enquiries.

You got it - WE ARE EVERTON - the place where bedrock Merseyside fans and troops from the north west and surrounding environs mass. We are generations old and battle hardened against the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and defiantly we wait for our day.

No other club has what we have. Don't talk to me about Utd, RS or Arsenal shtehawk glory hunting clubs where the biggest crowd noise is the clicking of iphone cameras. The biggest club in terms of heart, passion and genuine supporters is Everton FC. You reminded us Roberto, you give us back OUR Everton.

Thank you.

Great solid performance today, 2nd goal was class, sums up our season really. So many blues with me in home section of north stand, lol the stewards were like '[Poor language removed] it' there's too many of them and that Poznan haha. Made my day when this blue walking out with his top off starting singing don't blame aspas, don't blame mourinho, blame gerrard gerrard haha, then slid on some grass doing a gerrard type celebration going mental, ahh I bloody love blues. Sorry if this sounds silly but who was that coming out with distin at the end?

Fitting the last goal we scored of the season was a beautiful passing move from front to back. Showed exactly how we have improved this year. Such a great season of premise. Look forward to our transfer dealings in the summer!

Watched game at screening at Goodson today and it was great to watch it there. Will do that more often next season!
