We were saying this as a reason why Coleman should get the job.

The reality is the days of Adams and co are over. Captains make very little difference for most teams.

Is this level of captaincy protocol really necessary given the position and mess we're in.
People bang on about stability and we flip-flop the armband to meet some outdated hierarchy.

I have never really seen Holgate have a bad game, sure minor mistakes, but I liked him.
